Making wine is rather easy. Yet, not everyone can produce a true grape nectar that is the expression of an entire territory. Chiusa Grande has succeeded in such a challenge: its wines reawaken the body and soul, through the palate.

The Chiusa Grande estate is comprised of three farms on the Abruzzo hills, at the foot of the Gran Sasso and Majella mountain ranges. Its products are among the most representative, truly organic Italian wines. While other wine makers moved to more productive areas along the coast, Franco d'Eusanio, founder of Chiusura Grande, decided to stay on the hills, hoping one day to see his dream come true: the affirmation of the unique farming culture that characterises the Abruzzo region.

In his view, wine as a product of traditional agriculture must be natural and inexpensive, even when its quality is high. The prices of wine must therefore reflect the simple and humble rural life. The Chiusa Grande wines are excellent, yet inexpensive. They are seductive, yet healthy: wine lovers are supposed to drink them, not just have a taste.
